Our community rules
Our community is a place to share, reflect and support one another. So that this works for everyone, a few clear principles apply. Please read them carefully — by taking part, you agree to them.
Respect comes first
Treat others the way you would like to be treated. It is perfectly fine to disagree — what is not fine are personal attacks, put-downs, insults or hatred towards groups. Stay factual and assume the other person means well.
The self-help areas are a protected space
In the self-help areas, people open up in vulnerable moments. Meet them with care and do not carry anything from others’ posts outside. What is shared here stays here.
No diagnoses, no medication tips
Do not diagnose anyone and do not give recommendations about medication or dosages. You may share your own experiences, but the community is no substitute for therapy or for medical or professional advice.
No advertising, no spam
Please refrain from advertising, self-promotion, chain messages and repeated identical posts. Links are welcome when they genuinely help the discussion — not to generate reach or sales.
Protect personal data
All areas of the community are publicly readable on the internet and findable through search engines. So do not share addresses, phone numbers or other personal data — neither your own nor those of other people. If you want to stay anonymous, take care not to make yourself identifiable through small details.
Reporting and moderation
If a post worries you or breaks these rules, report it with a short reason. We review every report and give you feedback. Our moderation team can hide posts, close or move topics, and for serious or repeated breaches warn, mute or exclude members.
If you are not doing well right now
If you are in a crisis or have thoughts on your mind that worry you, please reach out to a crisis line or emotional support service in your country — someone there will listen to you confidentially, free of charge and around the clock. In every self-help area you will find the right number for your region. This community is an exchange between people and is no substitute for professional help.
