Sound familiar?
A lot of what you write off as personal quirks is simply your type at work. The difference: quirks are annoying — types can be understood.
Everyone wants to stay a little longer — you’re already planning your exit
Or the other way around: you come alive as the room fills up, while others keep eyeing the door. That’s not rudeness — it’s the question of where your battery gets its power.
“Don’t be so emotional” meets “Don’t be so cold”
You decide with your heart and get called illogical — or with your head and get called heartless. In truth, those are simply two different decision-making systems. Both work. Just differently.
You present the big vision — and everyone asks for the spreadsheet
Some people think in possibilities, others in facts. If you don’t know which side you’re on, you’ll reliably talk past half the room in every meeting.
Your calendar: either a work of art or a rumor
Some people can’t relax until everything is planned out. Others start gasping for air when there’s too much structure. Things get interesting when the two go on vacation together.
The four dimensions of your type
Nobody is 100% one thing or the other — what matters is exactly where you stand between the poles. Your result shows you all four positions in detail.
Extraverted vs. Introverted
Where does your energy come from — the buzz or the quiet? This decides whether a packed calendar charges you up or leaves you drained.
Sensing vs. Intuitive
Do you trust facts, details, and what’s right in front of you — or patterns, possibilities, and what could be? Two people, one room, two completely different perceptions.
Thinking vs. Feeling
Do you decide by analysis or by your inner compass of values? Neither one is the smarter option — but they arrive at remarkably different results.
Structured vs. Flexible
Plans, lists, firm deadlines — or keeping every option open? Explains why spontaneity means freedom to some people and pure stress to others.

What you get
For a free test, there’s a surprising amount packed in here. We counted.
Your type profile across four dimensions
Where you stand between the poles — extraverted or introverted, sensing or intuitive, thinking or feeling, structured or flexible. Clearly visualized instead of vaguely implied.
A detailed report grounded in everyday life
Every dimension analyzed on its own, with examples from your real life and strengths and growth areas named honestly. Expect plenty of nodding — and the occasional gulp.
Action plan, 7-day plan, reflection questions
Prioritized next steps plus context profiles for work, relationships, and yourself — so “interesting” actually turns into “done differently.”
A PDF — yours forever
Your complete result as a cleanly designed PDF to download. To reread, pass along, or leave strategically on the kitchen table.
How it works
Answer honestly
40 statements on a 7-point scale. Don’t overthink it — your first reaction is usually the most honest one. You’ll be done in about 8 minutes.
We analyze
We analyze your response pattern across all four dimensions and calculate your position between the poles — done before your tea has finished steeping.
Understand your type, adjust your everyday life
You get your complete profile with analyses, tips, and a plan — instantly, free, and as a PDF to take with you.
From Jung to today: the model behind the test
The test is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of psychological types, made world-famous by the Myers-Briggs approach: four pairs of opposites describe where you draw your energy from, how you take in information, how you make decisions, and how you organize your life. Few personality models are used more widely in coaching, career guidance, and team development.
We measure each dimension with ten targeted statements on a 7-point scale — including reverse-worded questions, so nobody can quietly click their way into a wishful answer. And instead of sorting you hard into a box, we show you your exact position between the poles: a slight lean toward introverted feels very different in everyday life than a strong one.
To be completely honest: type models are maps, not verdicts. Researchers debate them vigorously — yet as a tool for self-reflection and better communication, they’ve proven themselves millions of times over. Take your result as a mirror, not a stamp.
Frequently asked questions
About 8 minutes for 40 questions. Enough for a solid profile across all four dimensions — and short enough to do it right now instead of “someday.”
Nothing. The Personality Type Test is one of our free tests — including the full results with report, action plan, and PDF download. No hidden subscription, no credit card, no “only the first two paragraphs are free.”
As accurate as your answers are honest. With ten statements per dimension and reverse-worded questions, the profile is far more robust than the usual five-click quizzes. Answer spontaneously and as you are — not as you’d like to come across in a job interview.
No — and that’s deliberate. Our test builds on the same type theory with the same four dimensions, but it’s an independent implementation: with positions between the poles instead of rigid letter boxes, and results that hand you concrete next steps.
Your core tendencies are considered fairly stable — but your position between the poles can shift with life phases. A new job, a new relationship, more self-reflection: all of that can move you along a dimension. That’s why retaking the test after a few months is often revealing.
Yes. You don’t need an account for the test, and your result can only be reached through your personal link. Whether your partner, your boss, or nobody at all finds out is entirely up to you.
Four answers to the question of why you are the way you are.
